Mortenhals Gård is a old farm and trading place from the years 1700. It is run by the 5th generation of Kristoffersens. The farm offers visits of the old store “Gammelbutikken”, a travel back in time to the 18th century, where you can learn how Norwegian people used to live and work. Our farm also offers great hiking (summer-Fall) and snowshoes (winter/spring) experiences, as well as making a bonfire, eating good local food, looking for animal track and the northern lights. We customize the experience based on your private group request, so e-mail us and we promise to make your experience unforgettable. We also arrange different activities such as Christmas markets, so follow us for more information. If you want to explore the area by yourself we rent out, e-bikes, snowshoes, spikes for shoes, sledge, headlamp etc. (See below). Please contact us to book any of the items or activities we offer.
